Privacy Policy

Dev Atlas is built around browser-side developer utilities. This page explains what data is processed locally, how advertising may work, and what choices visitors have.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Local tool processing

Dev Atlas provides browser-side developer tools such as JSON formatting, JWT decoding, timestamp conversion, Base64 encoding, URL encoding, hash generation, regex testing, and color conversion. The text you paste into these tools is handled in your browser for the current session. We do not intentionally upload, store, sell, or share tool input with a Dev Atlas application server.

Information we may receive

Like most websites, hosting providers, browsers, and security systems may process basic technical information such as IP address, user agent, referring page, requested URL, and request time. This information is used to deliver the site, monitor availability, and protect against abuse.

Cookies and advertising

Dev Atlas may use Google AdSense or similar advertising services. These services may use cookies, identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and personalize ads where allowed by law and user settings.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to Dev Atlas or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites.

Visitors can manage ad personalization in Google ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com, use browser and device privacy controls, or review broader advertising opt-out choices such as https://www.aboutads.info/choices where available.

Analytics and performance

Dev Atlas may use privacy-conscious analytics, hosting logs, or performance monitoring to understand page usage, errors, and site reliability. These tools help improve content and fix broken experiences, but they should not receive the private values you paste into local tool inputs.

Third-party services

The site may rely on third-party infrastructure and services for hosting, analytics, search indexing, advertising, and security. These providers process data according to their own policies and legal responsibilities.

Data retention

Dev Atlas does not keep account profiles or user-generated tool history in this first version. Operational logs, if created by hosting or security providers, are retained according to the provider's standard retention settings.

Your choices

You can avoid pasting sensitive data into any website, disable or clear cookies in your browser, use browser privacy settings, and manage Google ad personalization through Google's ad settings. You can also use synthetic examples instead of production data when testing developer utilities.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Dev Atlas changes its tools, advertising setup, analytics, or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
